Roaming street show with live music

VENDAVAL Brass is a roaming band that turns the street into a moving party. It opens with a catchy cumbia while two clownesque characters fill the space with humour on stilts, unicycle and juggling.

Three saxophones, trumpet, sousaphone and portable drums set the rhythm and improvise live with hand signals. With sea-themed costumes, props and participatory games, VENDAVAL offers a festive, poetic, shared journey. It works as a parade between stages or as a stand-alone piece.

VENDAVAL Brass is a band that walks through the street.

There are 6 musicians and 2 circus artists. One artist is on stilts. The other artist rides a unicycle. They juggle.

The band plays music for dancing: cumbia, funk, Balkan music and swing.

The audience plays with nets and life rings. The audience learns hand signs and leads the band.

Each show lasts 30 minutes. We can do several shows in one day.

Before the show, blind people can touch the costumes and the instruments.

Concert in the audience

For music festivals: the band plays on the square in front of the stage during changeovers between concerts. 30 minutes, several sets a day, amplified with 8 wireless mics into the festival PA. The stilt-walker always stays in the crowd; the band can go up on stage.

Accessibility: We always offer a touch tour before the show. If the venue has the equipment, we can also work with audio description, hearing loops, vibrating backpacks and sign-language interpretation.
